Nokia plant für das 1 Quartal 2008 ein neues Internet Tablet mit WiMax.

Nokia plant eine neue Generation von Internet-Tablets. Sie soll bereits im nächsten Jahr im Handel erscheinen und mit einer WIMAX-Empfangsmöglichkeit ausgestattet sein. Die neuen Internet-Tablets von Nokia sollen zu den ersten Geräten zählen, die über den Standard verfügen.

Um eine möglichst problemlose Einführung zu gewährleisten, arbeitet Nokia eng mit Intel zusammen. Insbesondere an der Interoperabilität zwischen Intels WIMAX-Chips und Nokias Tablets soll gearbeitet werden.

Und pünktlich zu dieser Bekanntgabe, sind auch die ersten Dokumente über ein neues Internet Tablet bei der FCC, der amerikanischen Regulierungsbehörde, veröffentlicht worden!



Das Gerät besitzt demnach den üblichen Nxxx mit der Typenbezeichnung RX-44

Erste technische Details gehen aus den Dokumenten hervor, so wird das neue Internet Tablet eines der ersten Gerät mit WiMax sein, als auch WLAN und GPS-Funktionalität besitzen!

Aus den Dokumenten, die bei der FCC veröffentlicht wurden, gehen Tests mit geöffnetem Slider, sowie bei geschlossenem hervor!
Daraus lässt sich an fünf Fingern abzählen, dass sich unter dem Display eine Tastatur befinden wird

Sieht so etwas das neue N810 aus, welches in Kürze vorgestellt werden soll, laut Gerüchten sogar noch diesen Monat.
Die Bilder sind bereits schon eine Weile in Umlauf, von daher kann nicht sicher gegangen werden, dass es sich herbei tatsächlich um das Gerät handelt. Bleibt es jetzt abzuarten...
